NYC 2007-2009

My interest has always been “capturing” the soul of a place through the people that happens to be there. Motion City was one of my first projects in this sense. I spent two years shooting mainly through the windows of NYC public buses. Using slow shutter speeds, my intention was to catch the frenetic motion of the city, the lights, the cars, but especially the people. All these together make NYC a living entity, the city that truly never sleeps
